moist chocalate loaf

MOIST CHOCOLATE LOAF CAKE WITH CHOCOLATE GANACHE

Make your  Moist Chocolate Loaf Cake with this easy amazing recipe.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup hot coffee (freshly brewed)

1/2 cup whole milk

1/2 cup sour cream

Ganache:

175 ml heavy cream
150 ml condensed milk
50 grams cocoa powder, unsweetened
1 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp butter

Instructions:

1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x5-inch loaf pan with parchment paper.

2. Dry Ingredients: In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

3. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.

4. Add Eggs & Vanilla: Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Then, mix in the vanilla extract.

5. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the hot coffee, milk, and sour cream until smooth.

6. Mix Together: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture, alternating with the wet coffee mixture. Start and end with the dry ingredients. Mix until just combined, being careful not to over-mix.

7. Add Chocolate Chips (Optional): If using, fold in the chocolate chips for extra richness.

8. Bake: Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and spread it evenly. Bake for 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean or with a few moist crumbs.

9. Cool: Let the cake cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.

PREPARE THE GANACHE:

In a pot, combine heavy cream, condensed milk and coco powder. Mix until combined and  no more lumps remain. Turn on stove, to low heat. Cook the mixture until it thickens. Stir in vanilla and butter. Turn heat off and let it cool down.

Spread the ganache on top and sides of the cake. 

Serve: Slice and enjoy the rich, moist chocolate loaf cake!
